Week 2

It's the beginning of week 3... We have had the chicks for 2 weeks. I can't believe it! They've grown so much since Day 1. Here's a slideshow with their pics. I figured out how to do some more neat things, so tell me what you think!

Wow! That was a great slideshow! And I so happy you got some Cochins...they are my FAVORITES. I have a black Cochin hen right now named Queenie, and she is just the sweetest thing ever.
The Polish ones always make me laugh- they're so funny.

Thank you! I absolutely ADORE Cochins! Our friend got a white bantam, and she is the cutest and sweetest thing in the world!! I hope they will be sweet.
I know, their just so crazy looking! Even at such a young age.

What a nice set of chicks! You have excellent taste in chickens. How do you do that slide show? That is awesome and space-saving.

Thank you very much! We picked out all the breeds that we wanted, and most of them are fancy breeds! (I like fancy/show breeds.)
If you have a Windows Vista computer, or maybe even XP, there's a software already on them called "Windows MovieMaker". I love it, as you can tell! You could probably buy some sort of software from the store or on the 'net. It does save LOTS of space!

Did you buy your chicks at a local store?

Good for you! It's a great software, and you can use it for movies or slideshows, which is really cool. You are very welcome! I love to help!

We only bought six chicks, Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire Reds, Black Sex Link, and Barred Rocks, at a feed store, but they usually don't have fancy types...just regular like RIRs. So that's why we ordered from McMurray. You are very lucky to have Silkies at your stores!
